Sometimes while using wifi our PC use a lot amount of data, which is not even required. PC used this data to update its own functions and applications. Sometimes we have constraint of data specially in case of using internet through mobile hotspot. This post will help you to stop your computer from over-consumption of data.so lets get started

 First of all open settings. It will look like following picture:-

Now choose "network & internet" from this menu. You will get following window :-

Now click on "advance options". Make sure your computer is connected to device. You will get following window :-

ON the button of metered connection, as shown in the above picture.

DONE

Now due to this setting, windows will stop all the updates and extra data consumption for this device. If you have more than one device you can do the same for that also.
